Welcome to the innovative knitting facility at the headquarters in Bodelshausen, where a large proportion of Marc Cain knitwear is manufactured on site. From knitting the high-quality yarns on modern machines through to the finishing stages in the textile production process, every step takes place in Germany to ensure the desired comfort and the top quality for which Marc Cain is renowned.

The new luxury knitwear capsule collection “Eternal Wanderer”, featuring standout pieces such as the coat in an ocelot jacquard design, is also produced in the company’s own knitwear facility. The fabric contains luxurious blends of cashmere, wool and silk, which are characterised by an exceptionally soft feel while also offering excellent durability.

START OF PRODUCTION
Before production begins, the machine is perfectly adjusted and the first knitted section is produced to serve as a benchmark for the entire job.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
Each length of knitted fabric is meticulously checked before finishing.

FINISHING
Knitted panels with their final, luxurious finish following the finishing process.

CUTTING
Precise dimensional control and accurate cutting of individual knitted lengths, providing the ideal preparation for subsequent assembly.
