Viscose is the man-made cellulose fibre we use most frequently. It is often referred to as ‘artificial silk’, as it is very similar to natural silk in both appearance and feel. Furthermore, viscose is skin-friendly, highly absorbent, has a light and loose drape, and is durable in use. Acetate is characterised by a silky sheen and a light drape, whilst Lyocell stands out in particular for its high breathability, durability and sustainable production, and Modal is distinguished by its exceptional softness, shape retention and high moisture absorption.
CARE TIP:
Viscose, Modal, Lyocell and similar fabrics should be machine-washed at a maximum of 30 degrees on a wool or delicate cycle, as the fibres can tear when wet. Remove from the machine immediately after washing to dry. For some items, we also recommend hand washing. To ensure nothing goes wrong during care, you should carefully follow the instructions on the care label before washing.
