HEMP

Hemp is obtained from the bast layer of the hemp stalk. The fibre is characterised by high strength, good breathability and good abrasion resistance. It is usually grown using little water and without synthetic pesticides, making hemp an environmentally friendly fibre. In textile processing, however, hemp still requires special treatments to achieve a soft and comfortable feel.
