In the Marc Cain Online Shop, you can pay with the following credit cards:
- MasterCard
- VISA
- American Express
For payment by credit card, you will need the 16-digit card number, the expiration date, and the security code (also known as CVV/CVC). On VISA and MasterCard, the security code is the last 3 digits in the signature field on the back of the card. On American Express, the 4-digit security code is located on the front, above the embossed card number.
Please note the EU PSD2 Directive:
As part of the EU directive, you will be asked to verify your identity in a separate step when making online payments. This additional authentication ensures that your card is actually being used by you. Authentication may occur via a code sent by your bank via SMS or email, or through a fingerprint in your banking app (2-way authentication). If you haven't already, check with your bank about the methods they offer to make your card payments even more secure.
The code will be requested after you enter your credit card details (Step 2 Payment Methods) and submit your order (Step 3 Review & Submit Order). After submitting your order, a page from your credit card provider will open where you can enter your code or be prompted for 2-way authentication via another device.
Alternatively, you can choose another payment method. The password set during registration is only known to you and your bank and will be requested with every new order.
Your data is protected using secure SSL encryption and processed immediately. Once you place your order, the invoice amount will be reserved on your credit card. The amount will only be charged to your credit card account upon shipment of the goods. The invoice amount will be debited from your credit card account when the goods are shipped.
