Certified more sustainable cellulose fibres

We are increasingly focusing on the use of more sustainable cellulose fibres. For their production, we mainly use the naturally renewable raw material wood from sustainable forestry. More sustainable forestry means that the biodiversity and regenerative capacity of the forest are protected when the wood is harvested. For these fibres, cellulose is extracted from the wood, which is converted into cellulose fibres in a particularly environmentally friendly and resource-saving manufacturing process. In the process, the resources used in the manufacturing process are reused at a high rate.

We currently use the following more sustainable cellulose fibres in our collections: Modal and Lyocell from the TENCEL brand and viscose from the LENZING™ ECOVERO™ and ENKA® Viscose brands. Tencel, Lenzing, and Ecovero are trademarks of Lenzing AG.
