Respectful and species-appropriate animal husbandry is very close to our hearts. For this reason, we would like to continuously increase the proportion of certified animal materials in our collections in the future. We source our certified animal fibres from suppliers who guarantee species-appropriate animal husbandry according to the "Five Freedoms" of animals.


Certified wool: In the case of certified wool, this includes, among other animal welfare criteria, the renunciation of the painful practice of mulesing. In addition, the pastures are managed with consideration for the preservation of soil health, biodiversity and native species.

Certified down and feather: With certified down and feathers, "species-appropriate" means, for example, that the animals are not plucked alive or kept for foie gras production. Only certified down and feathers are used for our down articles. This applies to all items, regardless of whether it is a Rethink Together item or not.
