On 31.08.2023 the world of fashion was not looking at Milan or Berlin, but at Bodelshausen in Germany: The fashion brand Marc Cain celebrated its 50th anniversary at its headquarters. The highlight of the stylish event with the motto "Midsummer Night's Dream" was the large-scale Fashion Show, at which the exclusive anniversary collection was presented for the first time. Hollywood actress Diane Kruger was invited as the star guest of the evening.

Back in 1973, when I founded Marc Cain, I would never have thought it possible what we have managed to achieve: Global player, pioneer in knitwear, Stores and showrooms all over the world and No.1 in premium womenswear. The evening is the culmination of the last decades, which have shown me that while there must be a vision at the beginning, the road to success is paved with innovation, technology and progress. Not to mention perseverance and the courage to realise even unconventional ideas."
In addition to Diane Kruger, many other celebrities and well-known personalities were guests. These included Lady Amelia and Lady Eliza Spencer, Bettina Zimmermann, Princess Lilly zu Sayn-Wittgenstein, Frauke Ludowig, Nele Ludowig as well as top influencers Leonie Hanne, Farina Opoku and Ann-Kathrin Götze.
The 50 models, including supermodel Karolína Kurková, who opened the Show, entered the catwalk from a golden elevator, hidden in a tree. Right at the beginning, the models presented the 50-piece anniversary collection on the not 50, but 70m long catwalk.
In an emotional finale, Marc Cain founder and owner Helmut Schlotterer and supermodel Karolína Kurková appeared together on the catwalk.
