3M Thinsulate

As light as down, but much softer and warmer.
The down-alternative Thinsulate™ Featherless Insulation comes from 3M™ (Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing). The insulation developed by scientists consists of a very light material that combines the thermal properties of natural down with the insulating properties of synthetic fibres. Unlike down, the synthetic fibre filling continues to warm and insulate even when wet.

We use recycled featherless insulation in our products, which is made from either 75% or 100% certified recycled synthetic material. As an animal-free alternative to our certified feathers and down, the innovative 3M Thinsulate™ Featherless insulation is used in our outdoor products such as jackets, parkas or waistcoats.
