Marc Cain has designed a limited edition charity scarf exclusively for Christmas 2018. The limited edition scarf is adorned with a jacquard-leopard print as well as tiny hearts and is made with a high-quality blend of pure new wool. 50% of the net profit will be donated to the development and humanitarian organisation Plan International.
Plan International is one of the world’s largest humanitarian organisations, which advances the rights of children and equality for girls in over 70 countries. Benefitting a project to support school education for children in Malawi, the funds will help improve learning conditions in two primary schools Mkoma and Malikha in the project area of Lilongwe thereby creating a safe and child-friendly environment for over 4,000 schoolchildren. The aim is to increase the amount of children successfully graduating from school, especially girls, as well as optimis- ing the quality of teaching. The well-being of children has been close to the heart of Helmut Schlotterer, founder and owner of Marc Cain for many years. Improving their rights and investing in their education is the key for a way out of poverty. This is especially true of countries where this is not a matter of course. A safe childhood paves the way for a successful future. Plan International is an ideal partner to achieve this joint goal with. Numerous VIPs and bloggers will be supporting the project including Ann-Kathrin Götze, model and wife of german national footballer Mario Götze, who is also a Plan International ambassador. The limited edition charity scarf will be available from the beginning of November in selected Marc Cain Stores, outlets and online shop.
