Viscose combines a number of desirable properties that make it extremely popular: it is lightweight and – like all natural materials – skin-friendly and breathable. As a “hybrid” fabric, it combines the advantages of natural and synthetic fibres and stands out for its exceptional comfort and silky touch. This also makes it the ideal material for feminine cuts and flowing key pieces. It’s no wonder then that viscose plays a central role in the latest animal-print designs.

The lightness of the material combined with the back-on-trend print enables airy cuts and laid-back styles: for example, the softly flowing dress or versatile blouse from the Rethink Collection.

For these products, Marc Cain has exclusively used LENZING™ ECOVERO ™ viscose, which is certified with the EU Ecolabel. What’s special about it: The wood fibres are sourced from responsibly managed forests in which deforestation is balanced with new growth. All the materials used are recycled and its production consumes 50 percent less water than that of generic viscose. The same applies in terms of CO2 emissions. This is how Rethink Together products fulfil high environmental standards.
