In April, the Marc Cain Store in Galería Canalejas shopping mall in Madrid opened its doors for the first time – the first branch on the Spanish mainland, after Stores in the Balearics and the Canary Islands.

The newly created interior design scheme in the recently opened Store in Madrid features impressive high-quality materials. Carpets, wall paint and furniture are a delicate pale pink.

It was a logical step. “Madrid is a cosmopolitan city with appeal for the whole of Spain,” says Helmut Schlotterer, Chairman of the Board of Marc Cain. The setting is appropriately luxurious. The shopping mall is located on Plaza de Canalejas in one of the city’s most important heritage- protected historic buildings. Here, the label can be found next to selected luxury boutiques and Michelin-star restaurants. The highlight of the 91-square-metre store is undoubtedly the dressing area with an XXL velvet sofa and a 360-degree rotating mirror, giving visitors an exclusive and private shopping experience.
