Climate change has put rainwater high on the agenda. We need to develop more ideas for how to handle large quantities of water, which is an immense challenge, but also opens up new opportunities. Cascade systems, for instance, help drain water little by little. We are also using new species of trees for street-level greening that can survive dry periods. For example, hackberry trees from southern Europe are now being planted in Berlin.
