Materials such as alpaca, mohair and wool, composed by Marc Cain in an eight-play twist, provide the utmost comfort. One yarn, consisting of four threads in an alpaca wool blend, gives the sweater its softness and volume. The other yarn, consisting of alpaca, mohair and polyamide, accentuates the sweater’s lightness and airiness. The roll neck is also fully fashioned. In other words, it is knitted using 100 percent of the necessary yarn – no waste. Then there is the look: a combination of expressive cable knit, ribbed knit and purl knit creates a unique appearance that makes the sweater look almost hand-knitted. Another special feature is the collar, which is knitted on at the front and back. This avoids a seam at the neck, making the roll neck extremely comfortable to wear.

And while we’re at it – a modern shape gives the knitwear piece its distinctive look: wide, boxy and cropped. Chunky ribbing on the sleeves creates additional volume. The sweater is produced at the company headquarters in Bodelshausen and is therefore knitted in Germany.
